As a retiree, 2010 has been a tough year for me. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to assist with servicing my granddaughters’ insurance premiums. This amounted to RM22,500.00 annually for the next 5 years or the insurance plans will be forfeited. I was very fortunate that I came across CPIP Fund as without it, I would have depleted a quarter of my retirement savings trying to save the insurance plans. Not only did CPIP Fund help me realize my granddaughters’ endowment plan, the extra dividend that I am still receiving even serves as my alternative retirement income, I don't have to survive solely on Fixed Deposit interest anymore.
